ECG’s provider compensation experts will present an analysis of important pediatric physician and advanced practice provider (APP) performance trends from our 2022 survey, including the impact of the 2021–2023 Medicare Physician Fee Schedules on industry benchmarks. We will also highlight how medical groups are adjusting their provider compensation plans to account for these market factors, including value-based metrics and compensation planning for APPs.
The 2022 Pediatric Subspecialty Physician and APP Compensation Survey represents data from more than 17,500 pediatric physicians, faculty, and APPs practicing within 186 children’s organizations, including large medical groups associated with integrated health systems, children’s hospitals, community hospitals, independent medical groups, foundations, and academic institutions. There is no more rigorous or accurate benchmarking resource for pediatric compensation planning available today.
